Michael A. Segreti - President
Mr. Segreti joined to Rex Electric & Technologies in early 2006 with over 25 years of executive and financial management experience. He started with the company as the Chief Financial Officer and a Vice President. In 2013, Mike was named the President of REX Electric and holds this position today. Upon taking this position, Mike pledged to provide outstanding customer service along with an interactive and challenging workplace for our employees. Mike has significantly contributed to the growth of REX, which has become one of the nation’s largest electric and technology solutions providers.
Mike exemplifies a forward-thinking leader with a goal-oriented management approach. This approach involves having collaborative meetings with all partners to strategize company direction and be able to take action on current situations that arise. These relationships with majority partners, allow for Mike to discuss and give advice on matters that require extreme confidentiality. Mike is experienced in developing a cross functional team as well as in directing all phases of recruitment, selection, and training with total commitment to service excellence. He gained many of these skills at 21st Century System, Neumark Technology Group, and Trase Miller, Inc., where he was the General Manager. As their GM, he demonstrated strong leadership by orchestrating day-to-day operations while functioning effectively in his various roles within the company. He is detail orientated and highly analytical in all work-related assignments: which aides in his ability to immediately contribute to corporate financial goals and objectives. He possesses exceptional qualifications in account analysis of higher risk accounts, business planning, as well as staff development and leadership, which all allow him to be an effective president.
Mike is a Chicago native currently residing in Wheaton, IL, with his family. He enjoys mentoring and helping others develop their careers. Mike’s proudest accomplishments are raising four great kids, Louis, an attorney who lives in San Diego, Mike, a Vice-President at DeVry, Inc., Jack an Aviation Technology major at SIU, and Kathleen a Health Sciences major at The University of Iowa. He is also extremely proud of the fact that he has mentored several employees who have developed into “C” level players in various organizations.
